The Language of the Cross

What really happened on the Cross? Why did one young Rabbi’s death, 2000 or so years ago, make claim to have changed the world?

We will see in our reflections that the New Testament uses different types of language to describe the meaning of the cross of Jesus. At the same time, we are left assured that we will never sound it’s depths…it’s truth that terminates in more than one rich mystery. But there is much to think and reflect upon in the language of the cross that we need to ‘land’ in our lives if we are to be authentic disciples in today’s world. These sessions through Lent offer us an opportunity to gain some insight as we gather around together to reflect and pray.

Watch anytime from Monday at 9am, and then gather with us on Wednesday at 7:30pm on Zoom for discussion and an opportunity to ask questions. The Zoom invitation is found in the notice sheet.
