For the majority of the session, all the children learn and explore together, indoors and outdoors whenever possible. This gives opportunities for extending large and small group play, quiet and expressive times as the children choose their activities. All children are encouraged to take part in healthy snack time.

After snack time small groups are organised for all children. These groups are Squirrels, Busy Bees and Hedgehogs. These are determined primarily by school years, although there is flexibility within this to allow for each child’s individual needs. These group times are based around the children’s interests and are adjusted to suit the individual children’s age and stage of development.

Opening times

Monday – 9.15am – 12.15pm
Tuesday – 9.15am – 12.15pm
Wednesday – 1.00pm – 4.00pm

Each session is 3 hours long. In certain terms, we offer a Monday lunch club & afternoon session – this is an opportunity for children to experience a full day in the Pre-School to prepare them for Primary School. Children bring their own packed lunch and eat together before attending the 1-4pm afternoon session. Please speak to the Pre-School manager for details.

Each 3 hour session costs £15.50. In line with government funding, we are able to offer a free allowance of 15 hours per week to all children aged 3-4 years, and for 2 year olds via the Children’s Centre. Please contact the Pre-School manager for details.

We do accept childcare vouchers to help with payment.
